Calvin Tabata is a business consultant providing
assistance to businesses and financial institutions in the areas
of sales management, marketing, financial management and product
development. Formerly, he served as the Senior Regional Manager
and Senior Vice President of the Pacific Northwest for Bank of
the West. He supervised the Retail Branches and Small Business
marketing for Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. As a President's
Club recipient 7 times, he received numerous awards for sales
and management. His 38 years of experience spans a variety of
areas in retail banking, commercial banking, financial services,
and insurance.
His education includes a
Bachelor’s Degree from Lewis and Clark College, and a graduate
of the School for Executive Development at the University of
Washington and Advanced Marketing School for Financial
Institutions at Ohio State University.
He is the Chief instructor of the
Northwest Ki Federation, has been awarded the 8th
Degree Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido Rank and is the Chairman of the
Board of the Oregon Ki Society. The Northwest Ki Federation has
schools located in Oregon, California, Hawaii, Vancouver,
Canada, Calgary Canada, Czech Republic and United Kingdom,
overseeing approximately, 2,000 students.
He is also the special business advisor to the World Ki
Federation Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
